In Japan, academic year starts in april. Primary school lasts 6 years. Usually public school is coeducational.

The bride wears a kimono with long white sleeve called « shiromuku ». The groom is dressed with more basic clothes called « hakama » (trousers) and « montsuki » (jacket). On each suit family’ symbol is sewn.

The « Yukata » can be worn by men and women. It is used on different occasions as festivals, bath time or as a nightdress.

The « yukata » is made of an « okumi », upper bolt of cloth, a « furi », sleeve slits and an « obi », the belt used to tighten the dress up.
