Jacques Cartier bridge and its metropolitan functions (Montreal)
Set in the the urban scenery of Montreal, Jacques Cartier bridge is a main traffic asset, an urban lookout and an artistic spot.
The bridge was run in may 1930, 14 with only three traffic lines. The ones left were thought for potential trams. Traffic increase has made the five lines only used by cars. Every year, the bridge is crossed by 34,7 million of vehicules.
