American national parks, a question of canyon
One of the most known american national parks, Grand Canyon is a geological wonder giving the chance, to the millions of tourists coming every year, to observe the different steps of the american continent forming.
Shaped by the Colorado river, the Grand Canyon land goes on 280 miles (450 km) long.
Leaving the state of Arizona to Utah, you will be amazed by the colorfull cone-shaped rock-forming of Bryce Canyon spread out on a surface of 56 square miles (145 km2).
The touristic activity of Bryce canyon started around 1920 at the instigation of J.W. Humphrey (a federal employee) convinced in the national park attractiveness. He made build a route, for 50 dollars, in 1916, giving Bryce Canyon an access by car.
